Jeneration Web Development is a Drupal only web shop owned and operated by
Jennifer Lea Lampton

Jen is a Drupal developer. She started building websites with Drupal in 2006 while working for PagePoint Web Solutions in El Cerrito CA. Jen is an active contributor to the open-source Drupal project. Jen maintains several of her own modules, and helps out the the Drupal core usability team when she can.

Jen is focused on making Drupal easier to learn ("learnability") as well as easier to use ("usability"). After spending the better part of two years writing curriculum and attempting to teach people how to work with Drupal at Chapter Three in San Francisco, she decided that the problem is not a lack of documentation, but that Drupal itself is not intuitive enough, or consistent in it's implementation. A huge part of her struggle to make Drupal "make more sense" to people includes an initiative she's leading with several others, to refactor the theme layer in Drupal 8.

Jen's work for Jeneration takes the real-world problems her clients face, and solves them using Drupal. When the best solution produces a result that is not easy enough to learn, or intuitive enough for developers figure out, Jen patches the code she's using, and contributes those improvements back to the community.

Jen is a huge advocate of the Drupal community, has been making the Bay Area Drupal Camp (BADCamp) happen since 2007, and was also one of the key organizers for DrupalCon San Francisco in 2010.

Jeneration Web Development is not currently accepting new clients.
